If you asked about Donald T. Grieger, the first thing you think of is one of his stories. He had many tales to tell which would bring a smile to your face. His jokes would always make you laugh. He was a dedicated, faithful, funny loving man.
Donald was Born on Friday, January 13, 1939. He joined the heavens on Saturday, November 7, 2020 with his family by his side.
Donald was an amazing, devoted man. His family was everything to him. He was raised by his strong and loving mother Ruth, who taught him the art of life.
He then joined the United States Marine Corp. And shortly after his honorable discharge, he continued his Civil Service with the NYPD. After his retirement from the NYPD he worked various jobs including the United States Postal Service where he finally retired.
One of the things Donald loved most is when it came to vacations; he would take his family fishing to Montauk, NY. They traveled there a few times a year and have some amazing memories from those experiences.
He buried his first wife Peggy of 49 years on November 12, 2012. He then moved to Dutchess County to be closer to his two sons where he also met his current lovely wife Millie who he just adored.
He is survived by wife Mildred Grieger, son Edward Grieger & wife Rose Vajeeprasee-Grieger, son Kevin Grieger & wife Kim Grieger & 3 grandchildren Kaylie, Samantha & Sarah.
