Donna Bihn (81) joined the Spirit in the Sky, her Heavenly Father, on Friday May 17, 2024.

Donna was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother — as well as a "second Mom" to many others. She attended Poughkeepsie High School (Class of 1962), and worked in Mortgaging & Loans at the Poughkeepsie Savings Bank for 10 years.

She was a genuine and loving person, and fiercely protective of her family & friends. She was happiest in the good company of others — known for her unique sense of humor, quick wit, and fantastic storytelling, she was always the life of the party. She also was a lover of music, reading, and history. Donna will be dearly missed & remembered by many loved ones, as her love transcends beyond our Earthly home.

Donna is predeceased by her father and mother, Salvatore Leto and Margery Sorrentino; her sister, Patricia Matthiack; and many other beloved family members. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Helmuth Bihn; her daughter Klara Gulliksen-Bihn and her husband Eric Gulliksen; her son Karl Bihn and his wife Jennifer Bihn; her grandchildren Grace Budney (and her husband Christopher Budney), Stephen Bihn, and Karl Bihn Jr.; and her great-granddaughter Madelyn Budney.

Calling hours will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY on Sunday, June 9th from 2-5 pm with a memorial service at 5pm.
