Donna Lee (Hornung) Fredericks, 57, passed suddenly on April 10, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.

Born on April 16, 1960, Donna was the youngest daughter of Marion and the late Fred Hornung, formerly of West Valley. In addition to her mother, she is survived by sisters Carol, Jan (Jerry) Woitas, Linda (Douglas) Dague and Betty (Terry) Stephan; her life partner Tom Bakken; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A long-time employee of IBM and recently at Global Foundries in Malta, NY, Donna loved to travel to destinations that allowed her to hike and XC ski and, of course, look for the local fabric stores. At home, she could always be found in her sewing room where she made all her own clothes and for special others. She enjoyed trips to the city to see fashion exhibits that gave her inspirations for her creations.

A memorial will be held on Friday, April 20, from 5-8 pm at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
