Donna M. McKenna, a lifelong area resident, died on April 10, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Poughkeepsie on August 28, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Mary (Carfarone) Burke. Donna was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church and enjoyed ceramics, bingo, cards and Betty Boop. On June 3, 1972 at Mt. Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, Donna married Patrick McKenna who predeceased her on October 18, 1991. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Ghannan and her husband Walid; her son Patrick McKenna and his partner James Svetz; her brothers, Gerard, Patrick and Michael Burke; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
