MILLBROOK – Doris Ann Murphy, 90, died peacefully on May 3, 2022 at her daughter's home in Lantana, FL.

Born in Port Chester on July 7, 1931, she was the daughter of Jeremiah and Mary (Davern) Mahoney. On April 30, 1955 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale, Doris married the love of her life, James R. Murphy, who predeceased her on November 25, 2018.

Doris is survived by her children, Timothy Murphy and his wife Marlene of LaGrange, Brian Murphy of Millbrook, and Maureen Travers and her husband Steve of Lantana, FL; her grandchildren, Brian Murphy and his wife Erika, Meghan Murphy, Nicholas Nicoletti and Thomas Nicoletti; her granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Murphy; and her great-grandchildren, Sienna, Evelyn and Thomas Murphy, and Michael James Murphy Jr. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by her grandson, Michael Murphy, on November 25, 2017; and her siblings, Jeremiah Mahoney and Eleanor Coleman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Delray Beach, FL. On Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:00am, a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph's Church, 15 North Avenue, Millbrook followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
