East Elmhurst- Dorothy L. Dello Buono, an East Elmhurst resident for over 60 years, died on April 9th, 2020 at Orange Regional Medical Center, she was 90.

Dorothy was born on August 1, 1929, in Manhattan to the late William and Josephine (Castro Giovianni) Supple.

Until her retirement, Dorothy worked for many years in the purchasing department for Standard Motors in Queens. Dorothy was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church in Astoria. She also enjoyed walking to Astoria, shopping, and spending time at the senior center with her friends, Gloria, Josie, Roberta, Rose, and Adrian.
Dorothy is survived by her Sister, Susan Botta and her husband, John; her nephew and godson, John William Botta; her niece, Nicole Carroll and her husband, Bill; her great-niece, Kristin Carroll; her great-nephew and godson, Jonathan Carroll; her sister-in-law, Charlotte Supple; her Niece, Linda Supple; her niece, Dorothy Jodice; her great-nephew, Michael Jodice; her niece, Julia Miller and her husband, Kevin; her great-nephews, Cole and Sean; her niece, Donna Jodice and her husband, Tom; her great-nephews, Kevin, James, and Christian Jodice; her niece, Jennifer Demopoulos and her husband, Andrew.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 10th from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street Fishkill, New York. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street Fishkill. Interment will immediately follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, Peekskill Road and Bank Street, Cold Spring, New York.
