Dorothy Marie Menichino

Dorothy M. Menichino passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the age of 96 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on December 11, 1929, to Mary and Frank Vernino, Dorothy was the youngest of four children. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Ralph, and they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2013. Together they raised three children and were blessed with many beloved grandchildren.

Affectionately known as "Dot", she was a fabulous lady in every sense of the word. Always dressed to the nines, she carried herself with grace, style, and confidence. She was immensely proud of her family, always there as a pillar of support, cheering them on. Her heart was filled with love, laughter and whimsy, even in her final days. She left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Dorothy enjoyed golfing, dancing, music, and spending time with family and friends. Her Italian heritage shaped her love of family and tradition. It brought her such joy and pride to bring loved ones together with homemade meals and celebrations, especially at the holidays. She shared this with her family and they will continue to honor and carry on this beautiful legacy.

Her loss is deeply felt, but those who knew Dot consider themselves fortunate to have loved-and been loved by-such a truly special and unforgettable woman. Her kindness, elegance, and warm vibrant spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Funeral services will be private at the family's request.
