Dorothy Stockholm passed away peacefully December 12, 2021 at home at the age of 93.

Born on August 4, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, she was 1 of 6 children born to William Chester Wright and Ruth Esler Wright. Upon graduation from high school, she began working at International Business Machines on the typewriter assembly line. It was there, after several "accidental attempts" that she met "her handsome" Eugene Edward Stockholm at the office water cooler. They were married in 1952 and remained happy together until his passing in March 2017. Their one son, Gene Stockholm, lives in Irmo, SC.

She leaves behind a legacy of a heartwarming smile and love for those family and friends fortunate enough to have known her.

Due to her wishes, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, she asks donations be made to the Pediatric Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
