BEACON - Dorothy "Chickie" Weyant, 81, a lifelong area resident, died on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at the Wingate at Beacon.
Born on January 6, 1930 in Cold Spring, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Dotty Bischoff. Chickie was predeceased by her husband, Richard Weyant, in 1999.
Chickie was a member of the Cold Spring United Methodist Church and was an avid BINGO player.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Weyant of Cocoa Beach, FL, Lynn Talarico of Deposit, Kevin Weyant of Cocoa Beach, FL, Lisa Roessel of Wallkill, Kim Weyant of Fishkill, and Robin Weyant of Cocoa Beach, FL; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service officiated by Rev. Margaret Anne Laemmel will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 am at the United Methodist Church, 216 Main St., Cold Spring, NY. A Graveside Service will follow at 1pm at St. Joachim Cemetery, 303 Washington Ave., Beacon, NY.
