FISHKILL - Dorothy Ann Weydig 'Dottie', 79, a resident of Fishkill since 2010, died peacefully at home on February 3, 2021. She previously lived in Mahopac.

Born in Queens on February 12, 1941, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Dorothy (Raemer) Pisciotta. In 2000, she retired from Mahopac Central School District where she was employed for over 25 years.

Dorothy was a parishioner at St. Mary, Mother of the Church. Dorothy liked playing Mahjong and going to lunch with her friends, and enjoyed time at her vacation homes in Long Beach Island, NJ and Palm Coast, FL. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On November 5, 1960, she married Franklin D. Weydig. Her husband of over 60 years survives her at home. Dorothy is also survived by her children and their spouses, Donna and (Tom Shepardson) of Delmar, NY, Laurie and (Robert Camastro) of Sarasota, FL, and Steve and (Liz Weydig) of Lancaster, NY; her grandchildren, Chris and (Michelle Camastro), Nick and (Brittany Camastro), Tommy Shepardson, Kelsey Shepardson, Robby Camastro, Katie Shepardson, Lauren Weydig, and Ella Weydig; her great-grandchildren, Leo, Stella, Naomi; her sister, Marion Voorhees and her husband Art; and her friends of the Regency community.
