Douglas G. Corneille, 74, of Wappingers Falls and formerly of Briarcliff Manor, died on December 7, 2017, at his home.

Son of the late Donald Jenkin Corneille and Hazel Hensle Corneille, Douglas was born on August 3, 1943, in Ossining, NY. He attended school in Briarcliff Manor, and graduated from Parsons College with a Bachelor’s degree.

Douglas worked as an accountant for Westchester Community College until his retirement in 2009. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the New York Yankees.

He married Jana Karovic of Wappingers Falls in 2006. In addition to his wife, Douglas is survived by sisters Valerie (David) Schuman, Northport, and Phyllis (Guy) Sickmond, Leland, NC, along with 8 step children, 13 step-grandchildren, 2 great step-grandchildren and 9 nieces and nephews. Douglas is predeceased by his step-granddaughter Sarah Poulin
