MILLBROOK – Edith M. Cerrone, 91, a resident of the Fountains at Millbrook, died on July 30, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She previously lived in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.

Born on January 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (DeMaria) Anzovino.

Edith is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Michael W. Cerrone, in 2013 as well as her five siblings.

Edith was the President of the Residents' Association at the Inn at the Fountains at Millbrook. There, she enjoyed painting and crafting with fellow residents and staff.

Edith devoted most of her time and energy to family. She was a doting aunt, loved for her playful spirit, enthusiasm, and generosity. Everyone who met her, loved her. "Auntie" will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
