Poughkeepsie- Edith H. Diamond a resident of Poughkeepsie, NY, formally from NJ passed away January 25, 2021. She was 93.

Edith was born in the Bronx, NY on August 12, 1927 the daughter of Carl and Fannie (Fein) Horowitz. She attended schools in NYC where she graduated Valedictorian of her class and later worked for C.U.N.Y as an Administrative Assistant.

A "True Fashionista", Edith also enjoyed reading and writing and was an animal lover. She fostered cats over the years. She had lived in many different communities throughout her life and had served as President of her Homeowners Association and past P.T.A. President.

Edith is survived by her nieces and nephews Denise, Nancy, Ivan, Paula, Candy and Arlen and cousins Naomi and Melanie. She is predeceased by her husband Hyman and son Mitchell.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc. At the request of the family all services for Edith will be private.
