MOUNT PLEASANT, SC-Edmund "Matt" Christopher, 45, a resident of Mount Pleasant, SC since 1996, formerly of Poughkeepsie, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 23, 2011.
Born in Poughkeepsie on July 11, 1966, he was the son of Ed Christopher of Poughkeepsie and the late Joanne Marie Gunn Meckelvaney, who predeceased him on Monday, August 22, 2011.
Matt loved drawing, football, music, video games, penguins, and snow globes. In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Mark Christopher and his wife Susan; his sister, Jeneen "Nikki" Haldeman and her husband Bob; his nephews and niece, Quinn, Elizabeth, and Noah; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his nephew, Robert.
Calling hours for Matt, and his mother, Joanne, will be held on Saturday from 10am to 1pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by the funeral service at 1pm.
