WAPPINGERS FALLS – Eduardo Teixeira Pereira, 59, an area resident for 14 years, died on February 18, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He previously lived in Yonkers.

Born in Portugal on July 4, 1958, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Teixeira) Pereira. He was employed by Local #1010 in Queens.

On December 2, 1978 in Portugal, Eduardo married Maria Silva who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughter, Marisa P. Pereira and her boyfriend Peter Barrow of Beacon; his daughter, Stephanie Pereira of Wappingers Falls; his grandson, Preston Pereira; extended family in Portugal; and many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10 am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, Lagrangeville followed by burial.
