Edward Richard Boos, 65, an area resident since 1991 and formerly of Hawthorne, died on February 4, 2025 at his home.

Born in the Bronx on April 25, 1959, he was the son of the late George and Elma (Wycoff) Boos. Edward was employed as a truck driver with Better Carting in White Plains. He enjoyed camping and walking.

Edward is survived by his son Matthew Boos and his wife Brielle; his daughter Lilly Boos and her companion Dalton Stricklin; his granddaughters, Chelsea and Maci; his siblings, George Boos, Roy Boos and Dorothy Carrol; his best friend and faithful companion, Sam; his granddog, Kaia; his good friends, the Woods family; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
