Edward A. Hartmann, 58, a resident of LaGrangeville since 1993 and formerly of Rosedale, Queens, died on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Queens on December 9, 1953, he was the son of Edward Hartmann of LaGrangeville and the late Margaret Kenrick Hartmann who died in 2002. Edward was a self-employed carpenter.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Mary Martirano and her husband Robert of Yonkers; his brother, John Hartmann and his wife Stephanie of Long Beach; his niece and nephews, Ryan, Andrew, Danielle and Vincent; and his beloved friend, April Lowe.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville.
