POUGHKEEPSIE – Edward R. Hogan, Jr., 58, an area resident for 31 years and formerly of Yonkers, died peacefully at his home on August 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Yonkers on August 22, 1962, he was the son of Edward R. Hogan, Sr. and the late Linda (Carroll) Hogan. He was the Founder and President of FSC Wealth Advisors, a financial planning firm. Ed was extremely proud of his business and working with his clients was truly a labor of love. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. An avid baseball fan, he was a star athlete on his Mahopac High School Baseball team, and continued to play competitive baseball throughout his life. Ed was also known for all of his wonderful parties – he was a great entertainer with karaoke being a favorite. Above all else, Ed will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather – his family was everything to him!

On July 7, 1988 in Tarrytown NY, Ed married the love of his life, Karen Kraemer, who survives him. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Gary and Meredith Gould of NJ, Artie and Karen Gould of Wappingers Falls, Lauren and Mark Mozdziez of Millbrook, Nicole and Arthur Rushforth of Massapequa, and Elizabeth Hogan of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Lily, Jack and Maggie Gould, Aubrey and Derek Gould, Miles and Marley Mozdziez, and Laya Hogan; his father Edward R. Hogan Sr., his sisters, Barbara Hogan and Linda Benya; and dozens of nieces and nephews whom he truly cared for.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 11:30 am at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie followed by interment in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
