Edward Everett Vincent III, recently of Hyde Park, NY, passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on October 3, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, on August 20, 1962, Edward was the beloved son of the late Edward and Evelyn (Nerge) Vincent, Jr. A master drywall contractor. He built a career through self-employment as a skilled contractor and auto mechanic.
A lifelong resident of Fishkill, NY, and later of Hopewell Jct. and Hyde Park. Edward was known for his adventurous spirit. He loved the great outdoors! In younger years hiking and skiing at Killington VT were his favorite activities. His passion for Ford Mustangs was reflected in his conversations. Recently he took up the hobby of creating Whirligigs! Edward loved to work! Edward held a special bond with his loyal canine companion, Payton.
He is survived by his loving sisters: Evelyn Vincent of North Carolina, Dorothea Vincent-Post (James) of Tennessee, and Barbara Duce (Tyrell) of North Carolina. Edward's legacy will also be cherished by his nieces and nephews: Jason Borjeson of North Carolina, Dylan Delahanty (Kristen) of Red Hook, NY, Sarah Precour-Rodriguez (Aaron) of North Carolina, Lily Precour of New York, Valerie Precour of ID and Joseph Precour of NY. He has many great nieces and nephews who will carry forward his warmth and spirit. His friends were very dear to his heart. Together we will continue to keep his story of life alive!
The family will gather to honor Edward with calling hours on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., located at 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY.
Edward will be remembered not only for his talents and hobbies but also for the love he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
