Edward R. Moszczynski, 65, an area resident for 30 years, died on October 23, 2016 at home.

Edward was born in Poland on August 16, 1951. He had been employed as an engineer for IBM in East Fishkill and Poughkeepsie for over 25 years until his retirement. Edward was a parishioner of St. Columba Church and enjoyed soccer, skiing, golfing, computer science and especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Grazyna “Grace” (Skibinska) Moszczynski at home; his son, Philip Moszczynski at home; his mother, Irena Moszczynska; his siblings and their families, Ewa, Antoni, Wieslaw, Krystyna, Janusz, and Zbigniew; his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and their families, Halina, Tadeusz, Marcin, Vanessa, Tomasz, Franciszek, Maria, and Wladyslawa; as well as his many friends and his former co-workers at IBM.

He was predeceased by his father, Zygmunt Moszczynski.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 1pm at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Burial will follow at St. Denis Cemetery.
