Edward Tocker, 78, an area resident for four years and formerly of Valhalla, died on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Wingate at Ulster.
Born in Antwerp, Belgium on December 14, 1936, he was the son of Fritz and Helen Cohn Tochus. Edward served our country in the US Army and was employed as an Attorney with General Foods Corporation in White Plains. He volunteered with the Hidden Child Foundation.
Edward is survived by his long-time friend, Susan Tullin of New Paltz; his daughters and their husbands, Heidi and Jasper Smit of Fishkill, and Sharon and Alain Lefloch of Hopewell Junction; and his grandchildren, Marielle and Brian Lefloch, Alan, Helen, Freda and Shirley Smit.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10am at Mount Eden Cemetery, 20 Commerce Street, Valhalla followed by a memorial gathering at the family's home in Hopewell Junction.
