Edwina Jean Casella, age 88, passed away on June 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in the Bronx on October 8, 1934 to the late Gennaro and Elizabetta (Pecoraro) Iannuccilli. On April 27, 1957, she married her loving husband Anthony Casella who survives at home.

Edwina and Anthony moved to Hopewell Junction from the Bronx in 1996. She became a parishioner of St. Columba Church. She loved to cook and bake, watch old movies, and spend time with her family.

In addition to her husband Anthony, she is survived by her son Richard Casella and his wife Denise, and her daughter Lisa Reback and her husband Heath, her grandchildren: Nicholas Casella and his wife Katie, and Ashley Reback, and her great-grandchildren: Giulia, Emily and Nicholas.

She was predeceased by her son William Casella, her sister Edna Iannuccilli, and her brother Edmund Iannuccilli.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday June 28th, 2023 from 9-11am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
