BEACON - Eileen Barrett of Beacon, NY, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor, NY. She was 68 years old.

Eileen was born on August 22, 1957, to the late Bernard and Dorothy (Bruning) O'Malley in Port Chester, NY. She graduated from Rye High School in 1976 and attended Delhi College. She worked as an accountant in White Plains, NY. Eileen spent the last 20 years living in the greater Beacon Area.

In her younger years, Eileen enjoyed Irish Dancing. She loved to knit and was very proud of her Irish Catholic Heritage. But more than anything, she was a loving, caring mother to her son, Michael, who was the light of her life.

Eileen is survived by her son, Michael Barrett of Beacon, NY; her siblings, Diane Miller, Cathy Dunn, Maureen Faillace, John O'Malley, and Kevin O'Malley; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY, followed by a Memorial Service in the funeral home at 4:00 p.m.
