May 22, 1934 – March 16, 2026
Eileen Teresa Primose passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. She was 91 years old.
Born on May 22, 1934, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late John F. and Mary A. (Walton) Sheehan.
Eileen worked for many years as a housekeeper at Marydell Faith and Life Center in Nyack, New York, where she was known for her dedication and warm spirit. She took great pride in her work and found joy in keeping busy.
A woman of deep faith, Eileen prayed the rosary daily. She was a devoted volunteer at St. Aedan's Church in Pearl River, NY where she ran the pancake breakfast for many years. She also gave her time at St. Mary, Mother of the Church School, helping in the kitchen to prepare and serve lunch to the students including her own grandchildren. She was especially proud of the time she shared a dance with Cardinal Dolan when he visited the school.
Eileen cherished her family above all else. She lovingly cared for her grandchildren when they were young, creating treasured memories through trips to Disney, Chuck E. Cheese, and the many meals she prepared when they visited her and Poppa in Pearl River.
She is survived by her loving children, Gene Primrose (Deirdre) of Wappingers Falls, NY, and Kevin Primrose of Fishkill, NY; her daughter-in-law, Maureen Primrose of Wappingers Falls, NY; her cherished grandchildren, Lauren (Victor), Thomas (Victoria), Matthew, Megan, Andrew, Robert, and Chris; and her great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Grace.
Eileen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene Primose , who passed on November 9, 2011, and her son, Harry Primrose, who passed on December 18, 2014.
She will be remembered for her strong faith, her caring heart, and the love she shared so generously with her family and all who knew her.
