LAGRANGEVILLE - Eileen Mary Tiess a local resident since 1967, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 6, 2021. She was 83.
Eileen was born in NYC on September 17, 1937, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Selega) Dupond.
In 1954, she graduated from Hunter College High School in Manhattan then attended Fordham University graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1967.
On April 8, 1956, Eileen married the love of her life Frederick. He passed away in 1994.
Eileen was a Pastor at Reach Out Church in Hyde Park, NY. She was a member and past treasurer of the Hudson Valley Pharmaceutical Society and was the Owner/Operator of East Park Pharmacy in Hyde Park, retiring in 2008.
Eileen is survived by her children Frederick and Beth of Charlotte, NC and Andrew and Yasemin of LaGrangeville, NY. Grandchildren Ashley and Brittany of Charlotte, NC and Andrew and Katherine of LaGrangeville, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Reach Out Church, 241 Crum Elbow Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538.
