Eleanor Norris Hunt, a resident of Georgia since 2009, formerly of Florida, Fishkill, and Beacon, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at The Landing Senior Living Center in Winder, GA. She was 95.

Daughter of the late Atileo and Lucille Nasi, she was born on June 13, 1930 and was raised in the Bronx.

Eleanor worked as a secretary for IBM at the company's facility in Poughkeepsie. She was a longtime dedicated member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fishkill and enjoyed various hobbies such as sewing, crocheting, and cooking.

She is survived by her four daughters and their husbands: Patricia & Dennis Henderson of Winder, GA, Jeanette & Jeffrey Simko of Beacon, NY, Ruth & Rodney Hetsler of Franklin Furnace, OH, and Fern & Dean Johnston of Ocala, FL; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her first husband, Hasbrouck Norris, in 1977; and her second husband, Paul Hunt, in 2007. She was also predeceased by her siblings.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7pm on Monday, December 15 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A funeral service will begin at 6:30pm. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, December 16 at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
