Eleanor Dorothy Manus, a Fishkill resident since 2014 and formerly of West Hempstead, NY, passed away at home on Sunday, October 22, 2023. She was 91.

Daughter of the late Carl and Martha (Rieschick) Woiwode, she was born in New York City on October 24, 1931. Eleanor worked as a secretary for Mutual of New York in Manhattan. She loved to spend time visiting New York City and always enjoyed a Broadway show and dinner.

She is survived by her niece, Eileen Faulkner; her nephew, Richard Faulkner; her great-niece, Carolyn Tuttle & her husband Tom; her great-nephew, Jeffrey Faulkner; in addition to many other loving relatives & friends.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was also predeceased by her husband, William Manus; her twin sister Evelyn O'Neil, her sister Helena Faulkner; her brothers-in-law, James E. Faulkner and Wilbur O'Neil; and her niece-in-law, Margaret Faulkner.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 3rd at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY, with Rev. Amy Nyland officiating. Interment will follow at All Faiths Cemetery, 67-29 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY.
