Wappingers Falls – Eliceo Javiar Orellana, 89, died on June 15, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Manhattan on March 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Eliceo and Candita (Morales) Orellana. He proudly served in the US Air Force as a Military Police Sergeant during the Korean War.

Eliceo is survived by his brother, Edward Orellana and his wife Kudesa of Wappingers Falls; his nephews, Edward Orellana and his wife Bridgette of Inwood, WV and Marcus Orellana and his wife Jill of Poughkeepsie; his great-niece, Olivia Orellana of Inwood, WV; and his great-nephew, Kieran Orellana of Poughkeepsie.

In addition to his parents, Eliceo was also predeceased by his brother, Abraham Orellana in 1981; and his great-niece, Eliza Orellana, in 2018.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10 am – 12 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery with military honors.
