Elijah Jack Swartvagher, beloved infant son of Pierre and Jennifer Corcione Swartvagher, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, Elijah is survived by his sisters and brother, Emilie, Abigail, Katie, Evan, Alice, Lucie and Josie; his grandmothers, Janet Swartvagher of Staatsburg and Nina Corcione of Somers; his aunts and uncles, Rita and Ted Graef of State College, PA and Rev. Marc Swartvagher of the Brooklyn Diocese; and his cousins, Anna, James and Celia. He was predeceased by his brother, Bennett Linus Swartvagher, on February 13, 2010 and his grandfather, Claude Swartvagher.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction with Elijah's uncle, Rev. Marc Swartvagher officiating. Interment will follow in St. Denis Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
