Fishkill – Elisa "Alice" Maduri, age 99, passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2022. Born in Brooklyn on February 6, 1923, she was the daughter of Salvatore and Mary (Carabella) D'Amico. Alice married her beloved husband Francis Maduri on August 7, 1943 at the Church of St. Rosalia in Brooklyn. Francis predeceased her in 1995.

Alice had many hobbies that kept her busy. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles. She loved knitting, going for drives, and playing cards. Going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends at get togethers was something she truly enjoyed. Her family meant the world to her.

Alice is survived by her loving daughter Lorraine Pisanelli; her grandchildren: Christopher Pisanelli (Michele) and Elisa Pisanelli-Sherman (Edward); her great-grandchildren: Mercedes Shultis, Brenna, Samantha and Nicholas Pisanelli, and Dominick and Vincent; her great-great grandson Roman Wilson; her sister Carole Ilardi; and many other loved ones.

Besides her beloved husband Francis, Alice was also predeceased by her grandson Robert, and her son-in-law Joseph Pisanelli.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 12, 2022 from 10-11am at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church 106 Jackson St. Fishkill, followed by interment at St. Joachim Cemetery in Beacon.
