Elizabeth A. Bogart-Probst, 55, a long-time Millbrook resident currently living in East Fishkill, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2014 after a long illness.
Born in Poughkeepsie on January 25, 1959, she was the daughter of Selah and Mary Fitzgibbons Griffin. Elizabeth was employed in human services with Abilities First in Poughkeepsie until her retirement in 2012. A talented artist, she also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
On October 31, 2006 in Millbrook, Elizabeth married William Probst. She is also survived by her son, Paul J. DeNunzio of Millbrook; her sister, Kathy DeNunzio of Verbank; her brothers, Michael Griffin of Spring, TX and Patrick Griffin and his wife Judtih of Salt Point; Paul’s sister, Sarah DeNunzio-Perry and her children, Tessa, Amelia, and Stella; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her son’s father, Paul DeNunzio, on November 20, 1992.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11am at the funeral home.
