STORMVILLE – Elizabeth L. Cianflone, 74, an area resident for 46 years, formerly of White Plains, died unexpectedly at her home on October 18, 2023.
Born in Valhalla on September 19, 1949, she was the daughter of Pietro and Jean (Herrmann) Pellegrino, who have predeceased her.
Liz enjoyed baking and cooking. Her love for baking started in her father's bakery in Hawthorne, NY. Liz was known for her amazing pies and crusts. She was the best pie baker in the state. Liz was also a huge animal lover.
Liz married John Cianflone in Valhalla on July 9, 1972. Her husband John survives her at home. She is also survived by her son Anthony Cianflone and his wife Liz; her daughter, Jennifer Cianflone; her grandchildren, Stella and Marco; her sibling Mary Ellen Pellegrino; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Mike Pugliese, Janice Cianflone, and Lucy Anne and Tom Gizzo; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edmund and Lucy Cianflone.
Services will be private with interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
Memorial donations may be made to the New York Bully Crew Dog Rescue or St. Jude's Hospital.
