Elizabeth P. Esposito, a Fishkill resident since 1979, died at the Elant at Fishkill on Friday, April 26, 2013. She was 88.
Daughter of the late Vincenzo and Lucrezia Rizzi Pellegrino, she was born in North Tarrytown on September 14, 1924. For many years, Elizabeth worked in the research and development department for General Foods & Eastern Aircraft. She was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill.
On September 14, 1947, she married Anthony Esposito in North Tarrytown. Mr. Esposito survives at home.
Additional survivors include her daughter, Donna Cappelli & her husband Alfred of Wappingers Falls; her son, Michael Esposito & his wife Judith of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Melissa Martinetti & her husband Anthony, Michelle Martinetti & her husband Philip, Christine Yarbrough & her husband Michael, Lisa Mazucca, and Nicole Eisenhauer & her husband Rich; her great-grandchildren, A.J., Isabella, Patrick, James, Catherine, Madison, Michele, Cristian and Lilia.
She was predeceased in death by her brother, Frank Pellegrino.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 29 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
