HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Elizabeth Louise Hicks, 75, an area resident since 1976, died peacefully at home on December 14, 2021. She previously lived in Portchester.
Born in Yonkers on June 15, 1946, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Frank and Adeline (Klein) Rinaldi. She worked as a real estate agent for many years in the Hudson Valley. She enjoyed quilting, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
On August 25, 1968 in Mount Vernon, Elizabeth married Alfred K. Hicks, Sr. who survives at home. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Jessica and Christopher Marino of Salt Point and Alfred and Jeanette Hicks of Gilford, CT; her grandchildren, Izabell Hennessy, Keyla Hennessy, Oli Hennessy, Elizabeth Hicks, Rebecca Hicks, Katherine Hicks, David Hicks, Juliette Marino, and Anna Marino; her brother, David Rinaldi and his wife Doris; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also predeceased by her brother, Frank Rinaldi, Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction with a funeral service at 7pm. The family requests that everyone wear masks.
