Elizabeth Ann Tartaglia, 93, a resident of Poughkeepsie for 30 years, died on March 25, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in New York City on August 6, 1922, she was the daughter of Vincenzo and Marie Tassello. Elizabeth had worked at Vassar Brothers Hospital for 7 years, and volunteered with the Home League Ladies at the Salvation Army for 10 years. She had been a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Poughkeepsie, and had recently been attending services at the Lutheran Care Center where she has lived for the past 3 years.

Elizabeth is survived by her children and their spouses, Frank and Angela Tartaglia of Melbourne, FL, Marie and Wayne Castilonia of Salt Point, Pasquale and Marie Tartaglia of North Salem, Elizabeth Tartaglia and Carlos Lens of Wallkill; her grandchildren, Joseph and Dawn Orlik, Stephan and Renee Orlik, Christine and Alex Covino, Marisa Tartaglia and Gina Tartaglia; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal, Corey and Tyler Orlik.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2- 4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
