Emily Krahn's Obituary
FISHKILL - Emily E. Krahn, 91, a lifelong Hudson Valley resident, died on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Little Britain, NY on March 8, 1924, she was the daughter of Karl and Olga Gorning Krahn. Emily had been employed as a bookkeeper for Texaco, Inc. for 40 years until her retirement in 1982. She enjoyed roller skating and bowling and was on the Bowling League at Southern Dutchess Bowl for many years.
Emily is survived by her cousin, Mary Krahn; and many dear friends and neighbors. She was recently predeceased by her cousin, Arthur Krahn.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill with a service at 7pm officiated by Rev. John Young.
