Emmy Curran, 38, was granted her wings on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Westchester Medical Center following a tragic motorcycle accident. Her final hours were spent surrounded by her family.

Born March 5, 1977 in Poughkeepsie, NY, Emmy leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her four children, Jacob, Timmy, Casey and Sarah Whispell of Honsdale, PA; her loving parents, Michael and Christy Curran of Equinunk, PA; her brother, Michael Curran and his wife, Wendy of Pleasant Valley; her sister, Jill Stanton and her husband, Joseph of Poughkeepsie; her sister, Brooke Specht and her husband, Henry of Windsor; her nephews, Christopher Curran, Schuyler Stanton, and Cody Stanton; her niece, Heather Stanton; Aunt Emmy to Mia, Emma, and Christina; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Emmy's life would seem too short to many, her smile could melt the hearts of those around her. No farewell words were spoken. No time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God know why.

She was predeceased by her grandmothers, Catherine Simmons and Elenor Cornell.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A memorial service will be held at 6:30.
