Wappingers Falls – Eric Michael Steven Jones, 19, passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2021 in Newburgh, NY.

He was born in Peekskill on July 21, 2001 and graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in 2019. Eric enjoyed skateboarding, especially when he was younger and would skate everywhere he could. He still kept his board with him at all times and always maintained a passion for the hobby. He was fascinated by mechanics, cars, and racing and especially treasured his Acura RSX. More than anything else, he cherished spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Jeffrey Jones and Nanci Strang; his sister, Jessica Jones; his niece & nephew, Aaliyah and Aayden Vitiello; his grandparents, Richard and Karleen Strang, Elizabeth Jones, and Joseph Murphy; as well as many other loving relatives & friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
