FISHKILL – Eric H. Klee, 35, an area resident since 1999 and formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, died on May 26, 2022.

Born in Port Chester on December 17, 1986, he was the son of Thomas Klee and Maria Gutierrez Klee. He attended John Jay High School. Eric was an avid cycler, and he loved dogs.

Eric's beloved girlfriend, Renee, described him perfectly: "Eric was amazing, charming, playful, animal lover, awesome cook, incredible cuddle bear, big dreamer, wide-eyed nature lover and adventurer, cycling enthusiast, thoughtful teacher, creative artist, hysterical comedian, water lover, strong, compassionate, well-spoken, kind, fierce protector, my safe haven, my encourager and my passionate love."

Eric is survived by his mother, Maria Klee; his father and his wife, Thomas and Jessica Klee; his girlfriend, Renee; his grandparents, Margit and Helmut Klee; his aunts, Mary Ellen and Brigit; his cousins, Jonathan, Rianne and Daniel; and his faithful companions, his dogs Lunabelle and Marly and his cats Leo and Polly.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:30-8:30pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 8pm.
