Wappingers Falls- Erin Marie Lustig a long-time resident of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away suddenly on the morning of October 14, 2022. She was 40.

Erin was raised and educated in Wappingers Falls graduating from Roy C. Ketchum High School and attended Dutchess Community College.

Erin worked for the last 20 years at BJ's Wholesale Club in Wappingers where she always had a bright smile on her face, was extremely helpful to the customers as well as her co-workers. She will be greatly missed by all of them.

She was friend to many, had a huge heart, great sense of humor, a hardworking, dedicated employee, who always found the good in any situation.

Erin played and coached soccer for Wappingers United Soccer and was fluent in American Sign Language.

Erin is survived by the true love of her life, her best friend and reason for being, her loving daughter Melissa Roosa of Wappingers Falls, NY. In addition to Melissa, she is survived by her parents Bruce and Patricia Lustig, her sister Katrina Lustig, her brother Brian Lustig and his wife Haley, her nephew, Declan Kearney, Melissa's Dad Matthew Roosa, her boyfriend Sheldon Medley, her beloved dog Cody, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and an enormous group of friends all of whom will miss her terribly.

A memorial service for Erin will take place at a later date.
