Erna Kaufman's Obituary
EAST FISHKILL – Erna Kaufman, 95, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024.
Erna met the love of her life, Simon Kaufman, in 1954 when he was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. They were married on June 23, 1956 and had almost 70 wonderful years together!
Erna loved to play bingo, travel to the casinos, bake cookies around the holidays and work outside in the garden. She will be dearly missed by all.
There will be no calling hours as she wanted. Burial will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery where her husband's brother is buried.
Memorial donations may be made to the East Fishkill Recreation, Hopewell Hose Company #1, or the East Fishkill Police Department.
