LAGRANGEVILLE – Ethel Dozsa, 83, died at the Elant at Fishkill Nursing Home on October 12, 2013. Ethel, formally of Irvington-on-Hudson, NY had been a resident in LaGrangeville, NY since 1993 where she resided with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

One of 17 children, Ethel was born in Esztergom, Hungary on March 31, 1930. She was employed as a Nurses Aid at the Dobbs Ferry Hospital for many years until her retirement. Ethel enjoyed her family and friends, cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, dancing and gardening.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lajos Dozsa whom she married on May 21, 1951 in France. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Edie Dozsa of Florida and Zsuzsa Manna and her husband Mark of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Michael and Andrew Masseo and Eric and Jessica Manna; and her great-grandson, Andrew Masseo.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m.
