Ethelyn Lindsay's Obituary
Ethelyn Fay Lindsay, 82, a resident of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Valhalla and Schenectady, died on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Wingate at Beacon.
Born in Schenectady on October 26, 1932, she was the daughter of John and Doris Miller Turnier. Ethelyn was employed as a Registered Nurse at White Plains Hospital. She was a member of the Poughquag United Methodist Church and she loved animals especially dogs and cats.
On April 7, 1956 in Valhalla, Ethelyn married W. Reid Lindsay who predeceased her on June 27, 2004. She is survived by her children, David Lindsay and his wife Jackie of Hopewell Junction, Doug Lindsay and his wife Terry of Williamson, and Dorothy Lindsay of Poughkeepsie; and her grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Lindsay of Williamson, Ashley Wessel of Stormville, and Christian Wessel of Poughkeepsie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 7 at 1:30pm at the Poughquag United Methodist Church, 21 Church Street, Poughquag.
