Eufemia Betancourt, 92, a resident of Wappingers Falls for five years and formerly of Tampa, FL, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her home.
Born in Puerto Rico on September 23, 1920, she was the daughter of Juan Montanes and Gumercinda Bijio.
Eufemia is survived by her children, Delia Betancourt of the Bronx, Hilda Caballero of Wappingers Falls, Edward Betancourt of Tampa, FL and Minerva Miranda of Wappingers Falls; her brother, Damian Montanez of Spain; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
