Beekman – Evelyn DuBois, 72, an area resident since 1987 and formerly of Long Island, died on April 10, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Munster, Germany on October 20, 1951, she was the daughter of Bernard and Martha Tokentrup. Evelyn was employed as a Case Worker for Orange County Social Services. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Nova Scotia and Halifax.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, James T. DuBois; her daughter, Andrea Geiger; her son, Master Sergeant James L. DuBois (US Army) and his wife Mai; and her grandchildren, Melissa James and her husband Matthew, and Michelle Geiger. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Paul Geiger.
