COLD SPRING – Evelyn Reynolds, 87, a lifelong Cold Spring resident, passed away on March 28, 2014 at home.

Born in Brooklyn on December 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Flora (Barrett) Reynolds. Evelyn graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 1948. She had been employed in Public Relations for General Electric in Danbury, CT until her retirement in 1984. Following her retirement, she worked for many years at Boscobel Restoration. Evelyn was a parishioner at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring.

Evelyn is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mary McHugh and her husband Hiroshi Miwa of Toyko, Japan; John McHugh of New Jersey; Patricia McHugh of Manhattan, and Martin McHugh and his wife Cynthia of Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her twin brother, Eugene Reynolds and her sisters, Jane McHugh and Patricia Bruscki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair Street, Cold Spring. Burial will follow at the Cold Spring Cemetery.
