EAST FISHKILL – Evelynn J. Kaminski, 93, died on January 12, 2021 at the Lutheran Care Center.

Born in Milwaukee, WI on April 16, 1927, she was the daughter of Stephen and Sallie (Kucharski) Banyai. Evelynn had been employed as an administrative assistant for the Dutchess County Department of Mental Hygiene.

Evelynn was a parishioner of St. Columba Church. She was a member of AARP. She also volunteered as a home demonstrator and raised poodles and chihuahuas. She loved to sing, socialize, and travel. She also took many trips with her husband and daughters as well as senior citizen groups in Fishkill and Hyde Park.

Evelynn was predeceased by her husband, Craig Kaminski. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Laska and husband Kenneth St. Hilaire of South Berwick, ME, Kathleen Robbins of Wappingers Falls, Linda Morano and husband Robert of Fairfax, VA, Mary Richard and husband Peter of Clinton Corners, and Vicki Darlington and husband Albert of Tampa, FL; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
