Fanny Priester's Obituary
DOBBS FERRY – Fanny Priester, 97, a lifelong resident of Dobbs Ferry, passed away on June 20, 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Dobbs Ferry on December 17, 1925, Fanny was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Grande) Lucente. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, John Priester, in January of 2012. She loved her family, and cherished the time she spent with all of them.
Fanny is survived by her children, June Dotolo, Richard Priester and his wife Lynne, and Kenneth Gorton; her grandchildren, Cheryl Chasin, Jennifer Chasin, Alex Gorton, Shirstine Rahkola and her husband Jeremy, Lindsay Fowler, and Nicholas Belt; her great-grandchildren, Everett and Ethan Rahkola; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Fanny was also predeceased by her daughter Deborah Priester and her son-in-law, Thomas Dotolo.
Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2 – 4 pm with a funeral service at 4 pm.
