Felicita Molina, 79, a resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie and formerly of the Bronx and Manhattan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her home. She was surrounded by her family as she went to Heaven to be with the Lord.
Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on March 7, 1935, she was the daughter of Anastacio and Juanita Ortiz Molina. She was a self-employed day care provider, and enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Felicita's family are members of the Grace Bible Church in Wappingers Falls. She married Richard Morales in May of 1960.
Felicita is survived by her children, Milagros Morales of the Bronx, Richard Morales Jr. of Brooklyn, Maribel Morales of Jackson, NJ, and Maydeline Morales of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Anthony Aponte, Tiffany Cruz, Brandon Cruz, Tiara Semprit, Ruby Aguirre, Richard Noel Morales, Delilah Gonzalez and Jasmine Robles; her siblings, Justina Molina, Roberto Molina and Nereida Fontanez; and seven great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will follow at 4pm. Interment will be on Monday at 12pm at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
