Florence Bryant's Obituary
Florence "Florie" Bryant, 82, a resident of Stormville since 2017 and formerly of Liberty and Monticello, died unexpectedly on December 5, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Manhattan on August 5, 1940, she was the daughter of David and Sylvia (Seigel) Leider. Florie enjoyed reading, knitting, sitting on her porch enjoying the quiet outdoors, and spending time with family and her 4-legged companion, Rosie.
In July of 1962, Florie married Henry Bryant who predeceased her on December 19, 2009. She is survived by her sister Joan Leider of Los Angeles, CA; her brother-in-law Richard Bryant of Middletown, NY; her son Scott Bryant and his wife Grace Masiello-Zarrilli of Hopewell Junction, NY; her daughter, Tracey Cunningham of Danbury, CT; her grandchildren, Renee Cunningham of Danbury, CT and Grant Bryant of Hopewell Junction, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the East Fishkill Rescue Squad.
